My profile

Biography

I’m a Research Associate based in the Policy Evaluation and Research Unit (PERU). I work on the COhort cOmmunity Research and Development Infrastructure Network for Access Throughout Europe (COORDINATE) project which is part of the Growing Up In Digital Europe (GUIDE) programme of work which is developing the first Europe wide birth cohort study to better understand child wellbeing. The aim of the COORDINATE project is to initiate the community of researchers and organisations that will drive forwards the coordinated development of comparative birth cohort panel survey research in Europe.

I’m a quantitative social scientist with interests in longitudinal data, wellbeing across the lifecourse, and the impact of social context on outcomes such as pro-social behaviour and interpersonal trust. I am also interested in the statistical methods and approaches that we can use to better understand these things. I hold a PhD in Social Statistics and an MSc in Social Research Methods and Statistics from the Cathie Marsh Institute at the University of Manchester.
