Knowledge transfer partnerships

Our experience and understanding of the forces transforming industry, places and markets make us an ideal partner for organisations facing disruptive change.

We have a long track record of supporting a wide range of organisations through prestigious knowledge transfer partnerships.

What is a knowledge transfer partnership?

Knowledge transfer partnerships (KTPs) help businesses, not-for-profits and charities to work with university research teams on innovative projects.

A suitably-qualified graduate will lead the project with support from experienced academics and researchers.

Organisations of all sizes, from all sectors, can take part. Projects typically last between one and three years, and are part-funded by Innovate UK. Costs start at around £35,000.

The scheme has helped more than 14,000 businesses over the last 45+ years.
