Biography

Qi is a Senior Lecturer at the Manchester Metropolitan University.

Qi specialise in econometrical and statistical analysis of complex (longitudinal, panel) datasets in the context of international business, entrepreneurial capabilities, and innovation strategies. Qi has undertaken wide range of empirical and theoretical researches focus on small and medium sized enterprise (SME) internationalisation (Financial Times FDI Market Panel), EU SME market exploration strategy (Bureau Van Dijk Amadeus Panel), U.S. SME entrepreneurial impacts (E. M. Kauffman Foundation International New Venture’s Panel), as well as applied econometrics in entrepreneurship and management research (with the presence of Endogeneity and Selection Bias).

Qi completed his PhD at Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Imperial College London.

Qi is member of the Strategic Management Society, Academy of International Business, and the Academy of Management.
