Take action for gender equality

For two centuries, Manchester Met has driven innovation and progress through excellent education and research – where we’ve made a difference and transformed how people live. To mark our 200th anniversary, we’re showcasing our successes and the incredible work we’re doing to build a better future for all.

This International Women’s Day, we are celebrating the achievements of women and their allies, from looking at the impact of our research on gender equality and society, to sharing the thoughts of those taking action aligned to this year’s call: “Invest in women: Accelerate progress”.
