Biography

James joined the Department of Sport and Exercise Sciences in April 2023 as a Tutor in Strength and Conditioning. James completed his PhD in Strength and Conditioning where he investigated the effects of maturation and training on golf swing performance in talented youth golfers, and continues to work with Wales Golf as lead strength and conditioning coach along with consulting various elite level golfers. James has published multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (NSCA) and fellow of the higher education academy (FHEA).
