1. What do you like most about your course?
I like the facilities, diverse campus and the support our lecturers give - they’re fountains of knowledge. I also enjoy using the TV and radio studios, both of which will support me to enter a career in broadcast journalism.
2. What were your lecturers like and how did they help you to succeed throughout your course?
They really helped me to develop my critical thinking and other skills that I’ll need in the real world.
3. What skills do you feel you have gained/developed during your studies at Manchester Met?
I’ve gained invaluable experience, including learning how to; operate a TV studio gallery, operate and set up a camera to record medium close-ups, produce TV and Radio bulletins, edit using Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition software, pitch ideas and develop my interviewing skills.
4. Tell us about a piece of university work or a special achievement from your time at Manchester Met that you are particularly proud of.
My work in the aAh! Magazine makes me proud as I worked hard on my pieces and it’s rewarding seeing your name in print.
