Pranav Bansode
MSc Human Resource Management, 2014
What sparked your interest in human resource management?
I completed my bachelors in Business Management and later realised I am more interested to deal with Human factor than economics or export. When I was searching out for courses. I found Manchester Met’s HRM a good fit for me as it has Business Psychology as a module.
What was your first job after graduating?
After graduation, I flew back home and started working with a HR consultancy firm as a recruiter but looking at my confidence and communication, they assigned me to deal with a Business Development role wherein I sold their consulting services to the market.
What are your greatest achievements so far?
With my Post Graduate degree and CMI certified Mentor certification, I joined such organisations who create impact in society through education and assist in placement. That helped me train and place more than 6000 students in last 8 years. I am CEO of my start up AideWiser Soltek. We facilitate Recruitment Services. I learned the art of recruitment in detail at Manchester Met, and throughout my career I have been part of various recruitment teams. Manchester Met also offered CMI Certification, which helped me to be a renowned soft skill trainer, career counsellor and mentor during my jobs.
What advice would you give to students who aspire to a career in HRM?
HRM is a bloodline of any organisation. The companies won’t sustain if there is no Human Resource with them. HR is such a vast domain that you can develop yourself in any one part of it and take your career to the next level.
What does diversity in HRM mean to you?
It increases the responsibility and makes everyone inclusive. A HR person sees every human in the same way and treats them the same.
