Why Manchester Met

My mother studied law when I was young and is now a solicitor, through this I have always been intrigued by the law. I chose to study the LLB at Manchester Met because it’s where my mother studied, and I had heard many good things.

I enjoy studying at Manchester Met because it’s close to home and the people, students and staff, are the loveliest most down to earth people.

I chose to study the Bar Training Course because I want to be a barrister. I chose Manchester Met because I studied here for my undergraduate and wanted to stay. Once I finish my course, I hope to get a pupillage and qualify as a barrister.

Getting involved

During my studies I have volunteered at the Greater Manchester Law Centre as part of their Legal Advocacy Support project, tried out for the university mooting team and took part in the Northern Circuit Advocacy Training.

Support

My tutors are extremely knowledgeable and supportive. They will do anything to see you succeed.
