My profile

Biography

I am a Senior Lecturer in Information Technology Development and Business Technology, leading a range of units, including; Introduction to Industry 4.0, Technology Enhanced Customer Experience, and Emerging Technologies in Organisations. Within these, I love discussing the latest technological developments and allow students to try technologies for themselves. 

I am also a research associate, technology consultant and project manager at the Creative AR VR Hub and an associate member of the Business Transformation research centre. Within these, I have led and been involved in a number of projects for example; Manchester Art Gallery, Google Glass, Geevor AR and VR, and Manchester Jewish Museum AR (Heritage Lottery Funded). I have published and presented my research nationally and internationally, as well as contributing to and supervising  Knowledge Transfer Partnerships and bid applications. 

I completed both my undergraduate and PhD in Augmented Reality Business Models at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Projects

In the last academic year, I submitted bids over £3,500,000. I am currently involved in a number of projects focused on digital and industry 4.0 technologies, specifically, working with a SME in the transport sector to improve their digital and operational effectiveness. Teaching

I have designed, lead and teach on a number of units on BSc (Hons) Business Technology; including Industry 4.0, Technology Enhanced Customer Experiences, Immersive Technologies, Emerging Technolgies in Organisations.
