Eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of all mental health conditions, and yet knowledge, awareness and treatment of eating disorders among health professionals can be staggeringly low. As a carer, my mission is to work with the LEN project to present guest lectures to Manchester Met students to help increase knowledge and raise awareness.
