Manchester Metropolitan University is based in 7 campuses – 5 in Manchester and 2 in Cheshire, collectively known as MMU Cheshire.

Travelling to the Manchester and Cheshire campuses couldn't be easier. The region is well served by motorways, good public transport and Manchester International Airport is just 10 miles (16km) south of the city centre with fast and frequent rail links both to Manchester and Cheshire.

Manchester

The University's central campus at All Saints is situated close to Manchester's city centre.

In Manchester the routes most commonly travelled by students are very well served by public transport. Oxford Road and Wilmslow Road which link the All Saints, Elizabeth Gaskell, Hollings and Didsbury campuses are reputed to be the busiest bus routes in Europe and competition between the bus operators keeps prices low with travel costing costing as little as £4 per week.

There's also a free hop-on/hop-off city centre shuttle service that covers the main city centre areas, linking the main city centre railway stations, main NCP car parks and many bus and Metrolink tram stops.

Cheshire

The MMU Cheshire campuses at Crewe and Alsager are signposted from Junction 16 of the M6 motorway. The Crewe campus is a 5-minute walk away from a mainline railways station and there is a free term-time shuttle bus service that operates every 15 minutes between the Crewe and Alsager campuses. The area is also well served by public transport and mainline trains for travelling further field.
