Active learning

We know the most important person shaping your education is you.

That’s why we make the space and provide the opportunities for your talent to thrive. But we need you to play an active part.

You’ll have lectures, but you won’t be lectured. Our teaching aims to fully engage you, so you really understand and get a deeper knowledge of your subject.

This means taking part in group discussions, problem-solving and presentations. These are all effective ways of building your critical thinking, analytical reasoning and communication skills.

Our active learning approach will build your confidence, so you can tackle stretching assignments and make the most of placements and other work experience.
