Why study languages, linguistics and teaching english?

With us, you can study a range of languages, with the chance to learn from native speakers. You’ll develop your language skills and gain a solid understanding of the social and cultural environment of your chosen language. Through linguistics, you’ll consider how language is formed, the way we communicate, and how this influences people and defines our identity. Whichever path is right for you, you’ll have the chance to learn from an experienced and enthusiastic team of lecturers and active researchers, who will equip you with the strong language and linguistic skills employers are looking for. With local, national and global links, we can open your horizons with work placements, study experiences and networking opportunities.
