Introduction

Our department offers a range of programmes for those who want to take a deep dive into the impact that politics, policies and technology have on society today.

The internet has transformed political behaviour, from voting and campaigning, to protest and revolution. MA International Relations and Global Communications focuses on fake news, digital diplomacy, hashtag activism, tweeting politicians and other developments that shape politics and international relations.

Study MSc Digital Society and you’ll learn about the theories and practices of digital politics and media, as well as an in-depth exploration of digital politics around the world. This course offers the choice to specialise in Digital Politics or Digital Sociology, allowing you to tailor your studies to your interests.

Prepare to enter or progress to a senior role in public services provision with our Master of Public Administration.
