The internet has transformed political behaviour, from voting and campaigning, to protest and revolution. MA International Relations and Global Communications focuses on fake news, digital diplomacy, hashtag activism, tweeting politicians and other developments that shape politics and international relations.
Study MSc Digital Society and you’ll learn about the theories and practices of digital politics and media, as well as an in-depth exploration of digital politics around the world. This course offers the choice to specialise in Digital Politics or Digital Sociology, allowing you to tailor your studies to your interests.

This course includes research and knowledge exchange in criminal justice, education, homelessness, and poverty and inequality, and is taught by expert academics based in the Policy Evaluation and Research Unit (PERU).
