The Graduate Recruitment Fund provides small and medium-sized enterprises with expert tailored recruitment support and up to £1500 towards the cost of recruiting our recent graduate talent.
We primarily work with SMEs in and around the Greater Manchester area, as most of our graduates choose to remain and work in Greater Manchester. However, we will consider all requests.
Roles should be full-time and for a minimum of six months. We may consider part-time or shorter-term opportunities if they meet the needs of our graduates.
All roles must also be paid at National Living Wage (£11.44 per hour as of 1 April 2024) or above. This is equivalent to £22,308 per year based upon a 37.5 hour per week contract.
How the Graduate Recruitment Fund works
Non-financial support that we offer
- Advertising your role on Career Hub, our exclusive job platform, on your behalf.
- Promotion of your vacancy directly to suitable graduates through email campaigns and social media.
- Supporting with job descriptions to best attract graduates.
- Managing applications to ensure you only receive complete and relevant applications.
Financial support that we offer
If you recruit a recent Manchester Met graduate through the fund, you can invoice us for £1500 per graduate once they have successfully started work.
