About our research
We specialise in econometric analysis of public policy issues - applying robust statistical methods to economic data to help inform the big decisions facing society and public services.
With backgrounds as professional statisticians, evaluators and economists, we conduct rigorous academic research that policymakers can rely on.
Our research focuses on:
- economics of education
- economics of crime
- environmental economics
- financial economics
- health economics
- innovation, skills and local economic development
We also provide specialist econometric analysis as a consultancy service, either leading projects or as a contributing partner.
Previous research partners include:

We offer postgraduate study courses and the opportunity to conduct supervised research in our topic areas.
